Anabelle Project
A REIMAGINED INTERIOR WITHOUT MAJOR WORKS
In La Garenne-Colombes, Anabelle—an active professional and mother of a teenager—called on the agency to support her with the partial renovation project of her 78 m2 apartment.
Our mission on this project was to freshen things up without major renovation work and to optimise the different spaces while modernising the overall aesthetic to suit the client’s day-to-day needs and her tastes.
In the entrance hall, fresh paint and sanded and varnished parquet set the tone for an apartment transformed with precision, without major works.
The kitchen, initially in good overall condition, needed a breath of fresh air. The immaculate white look of the cupboards was kept and offset by a new walnut worktop, extended into a splashback to warm the overall atmosphere and bring elegance to the whole. With attention to detail and consistency, the stainless-steel sink was replaced with a brand-new matte black sink and tapware.
Her bathroom, with a surface area of 4 m2, was redesigned in a modern, functional and cheerful spirit, while keeping as many original elements as possible. The original vanity unit, outdated, gave way to a contemporary double unit enhanced by two stunning coloured porcelain basins from London Basin Company. Tapware, heated towel rail, shower column and WC flush plate echo one another in elegant brushed brass. As for the washing machine, originally on display, it is now concealed in a bespoke full-height unit incorporating plenty of storage for towels and household products. Finally, we opted for an XXL backlit round mirror, to create a sense of spaciousness and optimal lighting.
In the main bedroom, very little work: a good coat of paint to refresh the whole, and a sliding wardrobe replaced by a four-door wardrobe fitted with lovely oak handles from Plum Living.
Finally, the dining area now features a run of bespoke cupboards specifically designed to store paperwork, crockery and everyday items.
