André Project
RENOVATION OF A 5 m2 BATHROOM
Optimising and adding personality to this cramped, outdated 5 m2 space: that is the challenge we set ourselves when supporting Séverine and André with the renovation of their Paris bathroom, located in the heart of Paris’s 17th arrondissement.
After many discussions and an in-depth analysis of the owners’ needs, we chose to keep the existing layout, replacing the bathtub with a spacious walk-in shower. We created a bespoke linear vanity unit offering a generous countertop, additional storage space, and an open space under the counter for laundry baskets. The mirror was also custom-made to dress the entire wall and enhance the overall sense of space.
Aesthetically, the goal was to bring elegance and character to the project. We chose a bold, deep green, both for the tiles and the paint, echoing the decorative elements in the rest of the apartment. The black trim adds a graphic, elegant touch.
The shower is now visible as soon as you enter the bathroom, showcasing the “kitkat” format tiles, which create texture and give it a distinctive style.
Result: an intimate, colour-drenched box that is as functional as you could wish for!
