Marguerite Project
COMPLETE RENOVATION OF A 90 SQM HAUSSMANNIAN FAMILY APARTMENT
In Paris’s 15th arrondissement, the agency supported a couple and their three children in the total renovation of their apartment.
The entrance sets the tone for this boldly designed Haussmannian jewel. Conceived as a color box, it asserts its style and welcomes owners and guests into a warm and sophisticated atmosphere, bathed in garnet from floor to ceiling. Custom storage, featuring Plum Living fronts, elegantly structures the space and provides a place for coats, bags, and shoes, as well as the clients’ extensive book collection.
At the end of the hallway, a colorful powder room extends the experience before an arched door reveals the living area.
Designed to be both convivial and minimalist, it subtly plays between old-world charm and contemporary warmth. Chevron parquet flooring, moldings, and ceiling roses have been carefully restored and are now enhanced by custom walnut joinery, graphic furniture, and colorful decorative touches. The bow window—custom-fitted with a bench—floods the room with light and offers a comfortable, soothing space for conversation or reading.
The kitchen, open to the living room, was designed as a space for sharing. Conceived to fit the room’s irregular shape, it naturally revolves around the dining area thanks to a multifunctional central island that extends its use and integrates a bench, inviting daily family meals and conversation.
Echoing the rest of the project, the primary suite—accessible from the entrance—combines softness with custom fittings. A multifunctional headboard enhanced by graphic wallpaper, a custom desk, and full-height linear wardrobes make up this cozy and functional space, with private access to a natural, mineral-toned shower room.
Located at a distance (for privacy), the children’s area was designed as a modular and playful cocoon, intended to grow with them. Custom joinery serves as a playground, storage, and creative space. Two mezzanine beds designed like perched cabins, a staircase full of surprises, a desk area, two large wardrobes… and a retractable door that opens into the newborn’s bedroom. Not to mention a lovely, colorful bathroom dedicated to them, and the laundry area, hidden in a hallway closet.
An apartment where Haussmannian heritage dialogues with a more contemporary style, designed to support everyone’s lifestyle.
