DESIGN STAIRCASE AND COLORFUL PRIMARY SUITE

Sometimes, changing just a small part of your home is enough to make you feel better. This was the case for Céline and Vincent, who previously had a mezzanine primary suite, completely open to the living room, with an outdated spiral staircase.

The agency assisted them in partitioning their bedroom to isolate it from the noise of the living area, while creating a more aesthetic and functional staircase. Indeed, the staircase was modernized to create a beautiful perspective in the living room through a play of colors and materials (wood and cane), and design lines (rounded finish on the overhanging first step).

Above all, this staircase has become a multi-functional space with a fully optimized footprint. It provides access to the bedroom, but also includes numerous storage solutions in the lower section (cupboards, drawers, open niches). The TV is concealed behind folding doors. The wooden batten railing ensures safe access while also concealing the door to the bedroom/office area. The landing is enhanced with bookshelves and decorative shelving, featuring rounded finishes that echo the first step.

In the bedroom, the sleeping area has been isolated from the noise of the home office thanks to a soundproof glass partition with rounded, graphic lines that allow light to pass through. Behind this glass partition lies a colorful and cozy bedroom. It features a custom-made headboard painted in terracotta, with a graphic wallpaper in the same shade on the upper section. On the practical side, this headboard integrates lighting, bedside tables, and a ledge for displaying decorative objects and favorite books.
